Cancellation Policy

By scheduling an appointment, you are reserving an hour of your dietitian’s time. If you cannot make your virtual appointment, please reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Violating the cancellation policy will result in a $50 fee.

Required Forms

After you schedule your appointment, you will be prompted by email to complete a few intake forms in our Healthie portal. The forms include insurance information, your health goals, and consent for nutrition services. Please complete these forms promptly after scheduling.

Here are some answers to FAQs about our process

  • Yes! As long as you have commercial health insurance with one of our insurance carrier partners, we guarantee your appointment is free.

  • Nutrition counseling is covered as a preventive care benefit (just like your annual checkup), meaning your insurance covers it 100%.

  • When you schedule your appointment, the email that you enter will be your login to our Healthie portal. You’ll get a confirmation email that will prompt you to create a password. In the Healthie portal, you can complete the necessary forms and join your virtual appointment.

  • Yes, we need your insurance info so that your dietitian can be compensated by your insurance carrier. We guarantee that you won’t be responsible for any charge.

  • No! Because this is a preventive care benefit, it is covered 100% by your insurance carrier. We guarantee that you won’t be charged a copay or deductible.

  • If Utopia WellCare is offered by your employer/organization and you’re on the health plan, then yes!

    If not, you may still be covered if you have health insurance with one of our insurance carrier partners. Contact us to confirm coverage.
