Used up your free preventive care appointments?

Your insurance plan may still cover additional appointments. However, since these appointments won’t fall under preventive care, they may be subject to a deductible or copay. You can still schedule more sessions, and we’ll handle submitting the claim to your insurance. You’ll be responsible for any amount not covered, but we guarantee you won’t pay more than our self-pay rate of $120, even if your insurance’s rate is higher.

Please note that we require your credit card information to be entered into the Healthie platform before booking additional appointments. Rest assured, your card will only be charged after the claim has been processed.

“How much will I have to pay?”

In many cases, additional appointments are fully covered by insurance. It’s also common for the deductible or copay amount to be $50 or less per appointment. It varies based on your insurance plan and any health conditions you may have. For a definitive answer, we recommend contacting your insurance carrier directly and asking them:

  • Whether virtual nutrition counseling appointments (CPT code 97803) are covered

  • How many visits are covered

  • What you can expect to pay out of pocket

  • If you need a referral from a healthcare professional
